This step-by-step guide explains how Wakey Internet customers can enable WPS on the Hitron Aria 2210 router and start a WPS pairing session.

 

Before you start

  • Make sure your Hitron Aria 2210 is powered on and online.

  • Connect your phone, tablet, or laptop to the same Wi-Fi network or via Ethernet.

  • Have the Wi-Fi modem login username (cusadmin) and password handy.

 

 

Step 1. Access the router interface:

  • On a device connected to the Aria 2210's network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), open a web browser.

  • In the address bar, type 192.168.0.1 and press Enter. If your browser has a pop up window asking for permission to allow access to local network. please click "Allow" .

  • Log in with your modem admin username and password.

Note: The default username is "cusadmin". Password would be the customer password you created during the initial setup process of the router.

 

 

Step 2. Go to the WPS Section:

  • After login, you’ll see the Hitron menu on the left side or by pressing the menu (☰) button.

  • In the left menu, tap or click “Wi-Fi” to expand it.

  • From the expanded Wi-Fi section, select “WPS”This opens the WPS configuration screen.

 

Step 3. Turn on WPS:

On the WPS page:

  1. Find “Enable WPS (2.4G)”.

  2. Slide the toggle to the ON position (blue in the screenshot below).

    • WPS is now enabled for the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Note: Your router may or may not ask for a restart once you enable WPS. If restart is required, Once router is fully back online re-login to the router and navigate again to Wi-Fi → WPS and continue with below steps.

 

 

 

4. Start a WPS pairing session

  1. On the same WPS page, click or tap “Press to pair” (big blue button).

  2. Within about 2 minutes, go to your wireless device (printer, camera, extender, etc.) and 
    • press its WPS button, or
    • choose WPS in its Wi-Fi settings menu.

  3. Wait for the device to confirm it’s connected (solid Wi-Fi light or “Connected” message).

Your device should now be connected to the Wakey Wi-Fi network without entering the Wi-Fi password manually.

 

Note: Alternatively you could also follow the steps provide by the device you are connecting to before clicking or tapping the "Press to pair" button.

 

 

Step 5. Turn WPS back off (optional but recommended):

For better security, Wakey recommends disabling WPS after you’re done pairing devices:

  1. Go back to Wi-Fi → WPS.

  2. Turn “Enable WPS (2.4G)” OFF.

Note: You device will still be connected to Wi-Fi and this step will not disconnect any connected devices.

 

 

 

Notes & Tips

  • WPS on this Hitron model works for the 2.4 GHz band only (as shown by “(2.4G)” in the screenshot above).

  • If pairing fails, repeat Step 4 and make sure you press the WPS button on your device within the timeout window after clicking “Press to pair”.

  • Wakey Support is unable to assist you with the router login password as that password is created by the user during the initial setup of the router.

  • If you forgot your password, your only option is to Reset the Aria 2210 router to factory default settings and once reset, Setup the Aria 2210 router.
