At Wakey Internet, we support a carefully selected lineup of DOCSIS 3.1 cable modems designed to match different home sizes and speed tiers — from the trusted CBN CD8000 and Technicolor TC4400, to the Sercomm DM1000 and Hitron Coda-56 for our fastest plans. Whether you choose one of our complimentary loaner modems or bring your own approved device, our priority is delivering a fast, stable, and future-ready connection.

We currently support the following modem models. Availability may vary based on inventory, region, and selected internet plan:

CBN CD8000

The Compal Broadband Networks CBN CD8000 is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem built for internet plans up to 1 Gbps. It’s a dependable option for streaming, gaming, work-from-home setups, and multi-device households. A built-in Gigabit Ethernet port delivers up to 1 Gbps wired speeds for a consistent, high-performance connection to your router.

Important: While this modem includes two Ethernet ports, only one should be connected to your router. Connecting additional devices directly to the modem may cause instability, connection drops, and performance issues.

Technicolor TC4400

The Technicolor TC4400 is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem designed for internet plans up to 1 Gbps. It performs exceptionally well for HD/4K streaming, online gaming, video conferencing, and busy multi-user homes. Its Gigabit Ethernet port supports up to 1 Gbps wired speeds for a reliable, direct connection to your router.

Sercomm DM1000

The Sercomm DM1000 is built for multi-gig capable internet plans over 1 Gbps, making it an excellent choice for power users, content creators, and large households. Its 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet port supports up to 2.5 Gbps wired speeds when paired with compatible networking equipment.

Prefer to use your own modem? No problem — it just needs to be on our approved modem list .

To verify compatibility, we’ll need a clear photo of the modem label showing the model number, serial number, and MAC address.

When using your own modem or router, Wakey cannot guarantee performance, provide full hardware troubleshooting, or offer warranty coverage on personally-owned equipment.

Important: Modems older than DOCSIS 3.1 are not eligible for new activations, upgrades, or relocations under current network policy.
