Prefer to use your own modem? No problem — it just needs to be on our approved modem list .

To verify compatibility, we’ll need a clear photo of the modem label showing the model number, serial number, and MAC address.

When using your own modem or router, Wakey cannot guarantee performance, provide full hardware troubleshooting, or offer warranty coverage on personally-owned equipment.

If you’re unsure which modem/router best fits your plan, home size, or usage habits, our support team is always happy to help guide you before you make any changes.

Important: Modems older than DOCSIS 3.1 are not eligible for new activations, upgrades, or relocations under current network policy.
