Your Wakey Pure Fibre service includes a pre-configured Wi-Fi network. The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password can be found on the label attached to your router or fibre equipment.

If you’d like to personalize your Wi-Fi network name or password, follow the steps below.

Option 1: Using a Web Browser

Some fibre equipment supports local management through a web browser.

  1. Connect to your Wakey Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. Navigate to:

    http://192.168.1.254

  4. Sign in using the administrator credentials printed on your equipment label.
  5. Navigate to the Wi-Fi or Wireless Settings section.
  6. Update the:
    • Network Name (SSID)
    • Wi-Fi Password
  7. Save your changes.

Your router may take up to a minute to apply the new settings.

Forgot Your Wi-Fi Password?

The default Wi-Fi network name and password are located on the label attached to your router or fibre equipment.

If you previously changed your Wi-Fi password and no longer remember it, a factory reset may be required.

Factory Reset

  1. Locate the RESET button on the router.
  2. Press and hold using a paperclip for approximately 45–60 seconds.
  3. Allow 5–10 minutes for the router to fully restart.

Your Wi-Fi settings will revert to the defaults printed on the equipment label.
